Cormac O'Connor – Sound & Video Designer
Cormac O'Connor is a seasoned sound and video designer who has been working professionally in Irish theatre since 1993. Over the past three decades, he has collaborated with a wide range of acclaimed Irish and British theatre companies, including Paines Plough, Corcadorca, Meridian, Graffiti Theatre Company, and Yew Tree.
Throughout his career, Cormac has worked alongside some of the most respected directors in the UK and Ireland, such as Enda Walsh, John Tiffany, Indhu Rubasingham, Regina Crowley and Josette Bushell-Mingo, contributing to numerous acclaimed productions.
In addition to his work in theatre, Cormac has composed original music for a variety of documentaries and short films. He has collaborated extensively with director Pat Collins of Harvest Films, scoring several award-winning documentary projects.
Beyond the theatre, Cormac collaborates with visual artists on sound and video installations. He has worked with artists such as Aideen Barry, Debbie Godsell, and Hinakhan, creating immersive multimedia experiences that have been showcased in various exhibitions.
